Education is not just about learning in the classroom; it also shapes students’ character, skills, and mental attitude to face the future. One approach currently being implemented in education is the Project for strengthening the Profil Pelajar Pancasila or P5, which aims to develop six dimensions of character in Indonesian students, one of which is an entrepreneurial spirit.

Through this project, students are not only encouraged to think critically and creatively but are also given the opportunity to experience firsthand how to manage ideas, collaborate, and take responsibility for assigned tasks. This activity provides a contextual, enjoyable form of learning that equips students with relevant life skills for today’s era.

On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, SMP Negeri 136 held a celebration event of the Project for Strengthening the Profil Pelajar Pancasila with an Entrepreneurship element. the event carried the theme “From School to the Future” and was enthusiastically attended by all students in grades 7, 8, and 9.

This activity is an opportunity for direct implementation of the entrepreneurial values that students have learned in learning projects over the previous two weeks.

Students were challenged to develop their entrepreneurial values and knowledge by taking on different roles according to their level of creativity and responsibility.

Grade 7 students were assigned to sell food, with each class having different ingredients such as rice, wheat flour, tapioca flour, cassava, soybeans, various fruits, and bananas.

Grade 8 students were assigned to sell drinks, with each class having different ingredients such as milk, coffee, tea, chocolate, syrup, and fruit.

Grade 9 students were assigned to sell merchandise and accessories, with each class having different ingredients such as beads, wood, plastic, rubber, copper, ribbon, and clay.

This event not only provides students with real-world experience in business but also practice communication skills, teamwork, and the responsibility of running a small business. Furthermore, this celebration serves as a platform to recognize students’ hard work in developing an independent and innovative attitude, aligned with the values of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

With this activity, the school hopes to foster an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age and prepare students to become a creative, adaptive, and highly competitive future generation.
